An Eggs-planation: PDF Print E-mail

We discovered that egg prices from several local vendors had risen recently, and we have been forced to raise some prices in the egg cooler. We had been pricing all local eggs at the same level, but since some farms are pricing differently now, it no longer made sense to do that, as our new overall price would be difficult for customers. So, we have variable prices on the wide array of local eggs offered by so many wonderful farms in our area. When choosing your local eggs, know that the farmers and the Co-op are doing their best to offer you the best possible value for delicious, fresh, farm-raised chicken and duck eggs. It seems that every time I am looking for something in the non-dairy beverage section of the Co-op I come across another type of non-dairy beverage available on the shelf. We are fortunate these days to have many options to choose from if you are either intolerant or allergic to cow’s milk, are a vegan, or simply want to try an alternative to cow’s milk.
